Most Women Miss These Early Cervical Cancer Signs… Could You Be One of Them?

Cervical cancer develops in the cervix, the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. Most cases are caused by persistent infection with high-risk Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The disease usually progresses slowly, which makes early detection of cervical cancer highly effective.

Early Signs and Symptoms of Cervical Cancer

In its early stages, cervical cancer may not cause noticeable symptoms. This is why regular screening is crucial.

Common Signs of Cervical Cancer

* Unusual vaginal bleeding (after intercourse, between periods, or after menopause)

* Abnormal vaginal discharge (watery, bloody, or foul-smelling)

* Pain during sexual intercourse

* Pelvic or lower back pain

Stages of Cervical Cancer

Stage 0 (Carcinoma in Situ): Abnormal cells on the cervix surface; precancerous. Basant have a supportive  role in this stage. The ingredients have clinically proved  inhibiting the transduction of human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV-16) pseudovirus in HeLa cells.

Stage I : Cancer is only in the cervix; divided into IA (microscopic) and IB (larger tumors, sometimes invading deeper). Early intervention assures recovery

Stage II: Cancer has spread outside the cervix to nearby tissues but not the pelvic wall or lower vagina

Stage III: Cancer has spread to the pelvic wall, lower vagina, or causes kidney problems

Stage IV: Cancer has spread to distant organs like the bladder, rectum (IVA), or lungs, liver, bones (IVB).

Stage 1 Cervical Cancer Symptoms

Stage 1 cervical cancer means the cancer is confined to the cervix. Symptoms may still be mild or absent, but some women may experience:

  • Light but persistent vaginal bleeding
  • Mild pelvic discomfort
  • Changes noticed during routine Pap smear or HPV testing

This stage has a very high treatment success rate when detected early
