Refund & Return Policy

Bipha Drug Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. (“Bipha Ayurveda / Bipha Bio Science”) maintains strict quality, safety, and hygiene standards across all its products. Due to the nature of Ayurvedic, personal care, and healthcare products, refunds and returns are limited, conditional, and subject to verification.

No Refund on Opened or Used Products

Products that are:

  • Opened
  • Used (even partially)
  • Tampered after delivery

are not eligible for refund or exchange, due to hygiene, safety, and product integrity concerns, except in cases of verified manufacturing defect, safety concern, or where required under applicable consumer laws.

Eligibility for Refund (Restricted Cases Only)

Refunds will be considered only if all the following conditions are met:

  • A valid issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery
  • The issue is verified by Bipha’s quality team
  • Replacement is not possible or not feasible

Eligible cases include:

  • Wrong product delivered
  • Product damaged during transit
  • Leakage or tampering at the time of delivery
  • Missing item(s)
  • Expired product
  • Verified manufacturing defect

Exchange First Policy

  • Replacement will be the primary resolution method
  • Refunds will be processed only if replacement is not possible, based on internal verification and applicable guidelines

Mandatory Claim Requirements

To initiate any claim, customers must provide:

  • Order ID
  • Clear description of the issue
  • Images of the product and packaging
  • Shipping label details
  • Batch number / expiry date (if applicable)
  • Unboxing video (mandatory in certain cases)

Failure to provide sufficient proof may result in rejection of the request.

Reporting Timeline

All issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Requests raised beyond this timeframe may not be considered, except where required under applicable consumer laws.

Approval & Return Control

  • All requests are subject to verification and approval
  • Returns must not be initiated without prior authorization
  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or processed

No Admission of Liability

Acceptance of any return, replacement, or refund request does not constitute an admission of defect, liability, or responsibility on the part of Bipha. All resolutions are provided in good faith and subject to internal verification.

Non-Eligible Cases

Refunds or exchanges will not be provided in cases including, but not limited to:

  • Opened or used products (except verified defect or safety concern)
  • Damage due to misuse, improper storage, or incorrect application
  • Delay in reporting beyond 24 hours (unless required by law)
  • Insufficient or missing proof
  • Customer dissatisfaction without product defect
  • Variation in results or perceived effectiveness
  • Orders refused, not accepted, or undelivered due to customer action

Shipping Charges (Strict Policy)

Shipping charges are non-refundable under all circumstances, including:

  • Forward shipping
  • Return shipping
  • Handling charges

No exceptions will be made.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be initiated within 7–21 business days
  • Additional time may be required by banks or payment providers

Refund Modes

  • Online Payments: Refunded to the original payment method (typically 4–10 working days after initiation)
  • Store Credit / Gift Voucher / Promotional Orders: Refunded as store credit only

Discounts and promotional benefits are non-redeemable for cash.

Domestic Delivery Failure

If an order is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Customer unavailable
  • Refusal to accept

Then:

  • Refund (if applicable) will be processed after deductions
  • Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded

International Orders

Customs Duties & Taxes

Customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import-related charges.

Non-Delivery / Return to Origin

If a shipment is returned due to:

  • Refusal to pay customs duties
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Customer non-availability
  • Shipment unclaimed
  • Customs clearance failure

Then:

  • Refund (if any) will be processed after deducting:
    • Forward shipping
    • Return shipping
    • Handling charges
    • Payment gateway fees

Refund Method (International)

Refunds will be processed via:

  • Original payment method (where feasible), or
  • Approved alternatives (bank transfer / PayPal)

Timeline (International)

Refunds will be initiated within 7–10 working days after verification

Medical & Usage Disclaimer

Our products are formulated based on Ayurvedic principles and are intended for general wellness and personal care. Individual results may vary depending on body type, health condition, lifestyle, and usage.

Customers are advised to:

  • Use products strictly as per instructions
  • Perform a patch test where applicable
  • Consult a qualified medical professional for pre-existing conditions

Bipha shall not be held liable for:

  • Reactions arising from individual sensitivities or allergies
  • Improper usage, overuse, or deviation from recommended application
  • Use in combination with other treatments without professional guidance

Variation in results or perceived effectiveness does not constitute a product defect.

These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease unless explicitly stated and approved under applicable regulations.

Adverse Event / Safety Reporting

In case of any suspected adverse reaction or health concern, customers must discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.

Such cases must be reported to Bipha with:

  • Complete usage details
  • Relevant medical information (if applicable)
  • Supporting medical documentation

Bipha reserves the right to evaluate such cases through internal quality and safety review processes.

Storage & Handling Responsibility

Customers are responsible for storing products as per the instructions provided on packaging. Bipha shall not be liable for deterioration, damage, or reduced effectiveness due to improper storage after delivery.

Abuse & Fraud Prevention

Bipha reserves the right to reject claims, deny refunds, or restrict future transactions in cases of suspected misuse, fraudulent claims, or repeated policy abuse.

Force Majeure

Bipha shall not be held responsible for delays or failure in delivery or processing caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, transport disruptions, customs delays, or regulatory actions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bipha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products. Any liability, if established, shall be limited strictly to the value of the product purchased.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kerala, India.

Exception Handling

Any exception will be reviewed internally and approved based on case-specific evaluation and applicable guidelines. Such decisions shall not be treated as precedent.

Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Refund & Return Policy in full.
